In-Laws

A disease must be either supplanted

Or consumed whole

On all sides, like a pearl

The latter requires more ability

And more patience

You see, the heart does not like

To expand

Including foreign elements is so

Unsettling to the psyche

Like mismatched wallpaper

A picture of the moon in

Rococo frame

Can one find it truly beautiful?

Of course, uncommon elements

Are illusory, because we are all

Made of clay
