Mara Jane is a poet based in Los Angeles, California.

After graduating from Harvard College, Mara has been writing for the past ten years. She published her first poem in eighth grade, when an English teacher recognized that she had some sort of talent and selected the poem she wrote for the school newspaper. That makes it such that she has been writing for the past 20 years.

Whatever she has written that can be considered “good,” however, is up to closer inspection. Perhaps any work that can be veritably termed so is only forthcoming. It is the poet’s hope that such work is not forever forthcoming, as a human lifespan is considered finite, at least, as of this writing. That may change.
